Ms. Young has been a counselor at West Monroe for seven years. Ms. Young's advice for the future students at WMHS is always enjoy your high school experience. We are lucky to have counselors such as Ms. Young because she did not have good counselors when she attended WMHS as a student. Ms. Young was also a Math, Science, Language Arts, and an American History teacher. The most satisfying part of her job is seeing her seniors graduate, knowing that each student is starting a new chapter in their life. Ms. Young says she has many favorite movies, but the one that is always a rewind for her is "Hope Floats." Her favorite quote is "Believe the will of God will never place you where the Grace of God can not protect you."

Advice to students: Always enjoy your high school experience. It is the only four years that you will wish away and then wish for it to be back in your life again.
