Mr. Ainsworth is currently serving in his thirteenth year at WMHS, ten of which have been administration. During his 20 years of service in the Ouachita Parish school system, he has taught in the fields of science, health, and physical education. His involvement in athletics included coaching football, track, baseball, and power lifting. Mr. Ainsworth feels blessed to have had the opportunity to work with so many talented and hard working students through the years. It’s extremely satisfying to him to be able to see these students believe, achieve, and pursue their dreams. He also enjoys working with the diligent and caring faculty and staff at West Monroe.

Mr. Ainsworth would like to offer some strong advice for the students: “Press on! Persevere! Even when things get tough, make the most of every precious opportunity!”

He would also like to share one of his favorite quotes: “What Lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us!”
